I actually drew this after the first several pages, but I realized that I would need a cover for the issue. The cover itself is an homage to the ever-homageable Identity Crisis #2, albeit certainly more positive than that comic. Also, it’s a mistake that Lightbringer’s hair in this picture doesn’t have the combing it does in later comics. I had originally intentioned that he would comb his hair to further alter his appearance, but I eventually decided that the coloring was enough.
