The simplest and, subsequently, worst-looking page so far in terms of the artwork. For some reason, profile shots of characters just look fugly and I’m working on getting better at it.
When I originally conceived of Lightbringer, I hadn’t thought of the pacifism angle. The original motivation was just simple cowardice or lack of will. Eventually, there would be so many things eating at him that he’d have to take action. However, I think the pacifism idea works a lot better for two reasons. One, it provides possible drama later on for the fact that he has to go against what his parents taught him. The second reason will be explained later.
