The dialogue for this one (particularly the ending) is supposed to be a callback to last year's "Countdown to Infinite Crisis," quite possibly one of the best Blue Beetle stories of all time. It's terrible, though, that he dies at the end of it. However, he mentions how he is the second person to be the Blue Beetle and he tells himself there will be a third. However, it's really tough to have a legacy when you believe you're the only person on the planet with superpowers.
