Countdown to Unnamed Crossover

Okay, we haven't named it and we don't have a date on which it'll be ready, but the hintings have already begun. I've mentioned on the forum that there will be a webcomic crossover featuring several superhero comics, including Lightbringer. All I've really said on the subject is that the Smiling Man is involved.

And just as DC Comics had their own little Countdown and Prelude to Infinite Crisis with hintings about something coming in their future, we have something similarly occurring. Over at Al Schroeder's Mindmistress, a new character with the ability to see the future has been able witness a brief scene in the heroine's future, where we can see a familiar individual with yellow hair: http://mindmistress.comicgenesis.com/vision22.htm

DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN!

T-Shirts Now Available!

I got a rather speedy delivery of my shirt from Zazzle.com and it passes the mustard, so I'm proud to announce that A LIGHTBRINGER T-SHIRT IS NOW AVAILABLE! The best part is that Zazzle.com's T-shirts are fully-customizable, so if you want a different size/style/color for the shirt, you can use it to make it! A warning, though - it seems that the white used for the symbol itself becomes transparent when not used on a white or black shirt, so while the outline remains the same, if you wanted a blue shirt, the inside of the symbol would end up blue, as well. My apologies.

Still, this new piece of merchandise is now available for any Lightbringer fan who wants to rip open their button-up shirt and proclaim, "CRIMINALS BEWARE THE LIGHT!" or other such phrase. Enjoy!

Christmas Shopping

Wow, a new blog post!

Anyway, as we approach the holidays, I know we're all consumed with the spirit of giving (Capitalism YAY!). As such, we all know how hard it is to be a college student/webcomic artist (okay, no we don't, but still...) and find ways to make a living off of something they love to do. However, I hate begging for money, which is why we don't have a donation thing set up. If you're going to give me money, I want to provide some service in return. It's why I have my books up there in the Store to begin with.

As such, looking for gift ideas for friends and family members to get for you? How about one of my books, eh? Eh? Also, I have decided that at some point in the future, we'll finally have some Lightbringer merchandise in the store section. Nothing too fancy, just T-shirts to start with made through the excellent Zazzle.com feature. Why not have them right now? Well, I'm strapped for cash at the moment and I want to create a prototype one before I start letting people buy them (I want to make sure they're of good quality). Subsequently, that may mean they may not be available for holiday shopping just yet, but hey, you never know! *Waits patiently for his next paycheck.*

So, in summary, BUY MY BOOKS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!
