Better Software

Due to a computer overhaul a few weeks back, I had to begin reinstalling a lot of my software. Thankfully, reinstalling everything is almost done and now I have photoshop back up. As such, future pages of Lightbringer will have much better effects than what they have now with just Paint Shop Pro.

On another software not, I recently purchased a bit of software for self-publishing comics! The software includes pre-constructed templates for pages as well as the ability to save an entire comic as a PDF. After all, wouldn't people prefer to access Lightbringer all at once than having to do page after page on Deviantart? In any case, whil I won't be using this software for the first issue of Lightbringer, since I'm pretty much done with this issue, I'll start experimenting around with it for issue 02 and hopefully give you a comic that looks a little better than it is.

Promotion

Alrighty! Now here's the first official post of the Angel Armor Blog! For the moment, this will be the official home of the Angel Armor universe from my book series and the comic Lightbringer. The problem with any self-publishing venture is, of course, promotion. As such, I'm working now to promote the books and the comic in whatever way I can. This mostly means just signature images and more instances of me yelling "BUY MY BOOKS!" Only now, since I've started Lightbringer, it now is "BUY MY BOOKS! ...oh, and read my comic, too."

Also for the moment until I can get my webspace up, Lightbringer will be hosted on DeviantArt. The link to it is on the side for anyone who wants to check out the first few pages that are available.

On another note, the third book of Angel Armor, Yesterday, will be available ASAP to be purchased as an e-book! For some reason, some people are not aware of what e-books are. Essentially, they're an electronic version of a book that's downloadable, usually for a smaller fee than the book would be in stores. For the moment, Yesterday will only be available in e-book form, at least until I can raise enough money to purchase the publishing package that I want for it. Hope to have people come through and enjoy my work!

First post

Alrighty, this is going to be the first post of the Angel Armor blog and, for the most part, it's just a test post as I adjust to the idea of using the thing at all. I don't expect people to read it or such, since again - testing at the moment with how this works.
