Villain Contest Winners

Well, since the person who said he'd probably make an entry hasn't made one, I'm announcing the winners!

Yes, WINNERS. See, the thing is, I think there's a lot of talent with these villains and I don't want to see it wasted. As such, while some characters I received may not be used, others are perfectly good as cameo fodder, but I still wanted central villains for possible future storylines. As such, these six villains will be appearing in issues 9 and 10, titled "Legacy of Chains."

The winners are:
Firedemon by Dr. Destruction
Lacey Boyle by Vile Terror
Lady Annalemma by Doublemint
Powerglove by Mcfuzzhead
Bruiser by c.w.
Legato Sin by Vinnie D.

While I haven't decided on who, yet, there's every possibility that any of the six above or any other conestants I received may even go past these issues and have their own storyline, but right now these are definitely the ones featured in the two-parter. ^_~

Villain Contest Update

Well, I've received well over a dozen or two suggestions for villains, some far-reaching and kind of outside the scope of the comic and others fitting in snugly into the continuity of what has happened so far. I'm still accepting entries, of course, since you never know, after I create the story for the villain, at some point I'll probably need to recycle another one since I've run out of ideas. ^_~

Still, keep them coming! I've gotten plenty from the good folks over at the ComicGenesis forums (I'm still in debates with myself over whether it's time to have a forum, since we're now averaging around 100 visitors a day), but sadly not enough from the regular readers. Give me all you've got, people, bring me your sick, your depraved, your superstitious cowardly lots!

I Still Remember

While I didn't have the time to do a tribute comic, I just wanted to note that I still remember the events of five years ago. While I know many who aren't understanding what the big deal is about remembering the event (and comparing it to remembering Pearl Harbor), it should be noted that the reason those events aren't national holidays is because the justice necessary for Pearl Harbor and similar attacks against the United States has been long-since carried out. The enemy in this conflict, however, still exists and is still a credible threat, one that I shall not forget. I will not be complacent about any action that brought the death of an innocent person or persons. While I can't always honor the individuals murdered on a daily basis, ones like this one I still wish to think about and try to honor.

Villain Creation Contest!

All righty! Unlike the previous contest with Hannah Fanart, I'm opening this one up for anyone who wants to make one!

The fact is, after reviewing my Rogue's gallery, I noticed a continuing trend - they tend to be murderers, usually promoting some philosophical thing, and their coloring scheme tends to fall on the blah side of things, mostly black/white/grey with the hint of another color here and there. As such, I'd like some new badguys.

Think up as much backstory as you'd like, as much information as you want to give me, and I'll pick one (or a few, if I feel they're good enough) to be used later on, maybe as a cameo or even the focus of an entire issue! ^_~ Giving me pictures is definitely a plus or at least a detailed description of their outfit and appearance. Don't try to post 'em in the tagboard, e-mail me! Come on, let's see if you guys can bring on the bad guys!
