Atop the Fourth Wall

Well, while I was disappointed by the small number of people who took the time to obtain the fourth book (even just downloading it to read at some later point would've been fine), I still am happy about the people who did. Kudos to you. Have a cookie. *Gives a cookie.*

Still, the fourth book isn't necessary to understanding Issue 6 and 7, but it sure as heck helps. In any case, I just wanted to promote a new little venture of mine that I'm trying to do: A website that reviews bad comics, going through them step by step and scene by scene and pointing out why they suck. It's called Atop the Fourth Wall and it's located here:

Book 4: FOR FREE!

Confused? Most of you should be. But of course, I only like confusion if there are answers for it and I'm going to give you them all - for one week.

See, I can understand that even if fans of the comic like it, they don't necessarily want to shell out $16 for a book that they're not sure they're going to like. As such, I'm giving you a little sample of Angel Armor. For all of the weekend and next week, a special preview of the fourth Angel Armor book will be available for free to be downloaded off of Lulu.com. You'll need something to read PDF files, so I hope you're ready!

Lightbringer's taking a one-week hiatus until Monday, February 26th. That gives you guys one week to read the explanation of how Louis got to Pharos City, who he is, how the Darkbringer was created, get a little deeper insight into its religion, and even some more of the Code Poet. Lightbringer even makes a cameo appearance! This is your chance to get a little bit of a sample of what I have to offer in just writing - no crappy artwork to get in your way! ^_~ I will note, however, that my editor and cover artist is incapacitated at the moment, so don't try to purchase the actual physical book. There aren't any page numbers yet and the actual cover pic hasn't been finished. Still, it's not anything that will detract from reading the ABSOLUTELY FREE e-book! I do apologize, though, since Lulu requires you to login and provide credit card information even though it's a friggin' free download.

In any case, here you go! http://www.lulu.com/content/683432

Contest Canceled

Well, after so many weeks and only two entries, I'm cancelling the cover contest. I guess it's easier to write stuff (like the villain contest) than it is to draw them. ^_~ Contributing to this announcement is my decision NOT to collect the first six issues of Lightbringer into a TPB due to my poor artwork (go exploring the other forums on Comic Genesis for the reviews on that...). The two entries I did get will be used as Fanart.

I'm also going to be working soon on doing some site revisions, with smaller buttons (and a Home button), as well as changing the Info page from my Wiki site into more of a FAQ page. Any other suggestions for site improvements, folks?
